PC3200 512Mb Rev 1.1 both sticks!
No dual channel kit though - hasn't been available back then..

Is it kinda "safe" to push them w/ anything like 3.4V+ for testing (don't want to ruin my bro's ram )?

I'd ask the same question Anyone? Does vdimm affect the memory controller in the CPU?

I just tested the Clockgen from the CPUID website, and it works fine. This is my first experience of clockgen working the way it should!!

Or does anyone have suggestions for the bewildering list of options in bios Like what do half of them do? Granularity? Something to do with sugar? j/k.

A snippett from the above link

Winbond, BH5/6

i was able to run these timings up to 255mhz stable with my BH-6 with 3.65vdimm

Dram Frequency Set(Mhz)= 200(Mhz)(1/01)

Command Per Clock(CPC)= Enable(1T),

Cas Latency Control(tCL)= 2

RAS# to CAS# delay(tRCD)= 2

Min RAS# active timing(tRAS)=10

Row Precharge timing(tRP)= 2

Row Cycle Time(tRC)= 9

Row Refresh cyc time(tRFC)= 12

Row to Row Delay(also called Ras to Ras delay)(tRRD)=00, 02 also worked good

Write Recovery Time(tWR)= 2

Write to read Delay(tWTR)= 1

Read to Write delay(tRTW)=1

Refresh Period(tREF)=3120, and 3072 also worked good

Write CAS# Latency(tWCL)= 1

Was that with 512MB modules?

New development, have managed to get 255MHz 2-2-2-9 out of the 2 x 512MB BH-5 I have Set vdimm to 3.54v, played with some memory timings, and voila, suddenly it works really well

So what's the difference performance wise between your BH-5 @ 255 2-2-2-9 and your G.Skill @ e.g. 280Mhz+ 2.5-3(4)-3-7?
How much to be expected? :-)

Actually i'm not too sure just now. I don't have my X850 XT PE down here with me, so i'm running an overclocked X800 XT PCIe card instead, also, this is with a different CPU than I was using with the TCCD. I'll test the TCCD when I get back on Monday. I have to say that I think this setup might be about 500 3DMarks (2001) faster than the TCCD, but I'm not sure yet. I can't seem to get anymore from the BH-5, whatever voltage or timings, it just isn't going to go. But only to be expected for 2 x 512MB modules. Now I'm trying to get more speed from the CPU!

Glorfy's set up

DFI NF4 SLI -DR
3500+ (90 nm)
2X512MB 3700 Gold rev 3, 2X512MB 3200 Platinum LE ~(BH6)
2X Leadtek 6800 GT

Heres a picture of the GTs in situ - note the shroud has been remove, they won't fit otherwise! Also note the heatsink at the top of the bottom card, virtually touches the HSF from the top card. This is one area the Asus SLI board kills!

The Asus is the only board I've seen with 2 slots space between the two PCIe x16 slots. Definitely an advantage that that board has. Fortunately I will not be running SLi, probably ever. I have to decide on a case to setup watercooling in now.... any suggestions? Money no object.
