Yup. Your question got me thinking so I did a close inspection for condensation and there is none. PC_ICE's mounting system works very well.

Primed fine all night @ 3.4v and 245Mhz. Going to jack up to 255 and head to work. I think its the board too, 1 minute its stable the next its not.

Well I RMA's the Patriot Ram I bought from Newegg in exchange for Ballistix 2x1024.

Currently Testing with the 704-2BT:
271x10 @ 1.475v | 3-3-3-8 @ 2.8v

I like the initial results.

I think i need to reload Windows (super Pi times are lower), but yeah I am happy with the numbers.

I have been messing with CPU Burn-In to see if it would allow for 2.7ghz with less voltage. So far it seems to be helping, but other variables have changed as well. Originally to get prime stability I needed to set the vCore to 1.55v. My temps were fine (36c idle / 43c Load) but I was unsure if upping the voltage from 1.325v to 1.55v would hurt the X2. This is my only system so I need it to be stable and reliable. I would love to get this 4200+ to 2.8ghz stable for everyday use.

That is except the new NEC 21" one that is the first to use red, grn, blue diodes instead of flourescent backlight. That one is like $7,000.

That's the board I chose to replace my Neo2 at my work. Trouble is I think it was DOA, or maybe it was my cpu, in any case I had to send it, the new pcie vid card and the 3200+ cpu all back for RMA replacements. If they all don't work this time I'm going to go postal.

Dell UltraSharp 2405FPW

I have the 2405FPW. Ubeatable for the price and you can usually get a really good discount by going through Dell business or watching for coupons on it. They come up very often. It's a awesome monitor and beats out the others you mentioned hands down as far as I am concerned.

If they use Samsung chips, don't count on any stellar results.

The only switch I use when flashing the bios is the switch to turn on the computer. Once I used some switches and killed a bios chip.
