When you say the memory tests fine, are you using the Memtest that's included in the BIOS? Or are you saying it tested fine in the other board? The problems you describe sound like they're memory-related.

OK. Do you have the sticks in the orange slots? Also, have you tried running with just one stick?

I get many BSODS, random reboots, won't load windows, reboot loop, loose display after turning off monitor, and numerous program crashes/freezes.

My memory tests fine. Ran it in another board for months with no trouble. Same goes for HD. I'm getting ready to throw this board in a fire. DFI sucked back in the day, shouldn't see why they haven't changed now.

Now I have to find another board to try.
What chips on the memory ?? TCCD ??

His profile says he's using Ballistix PC3200. He's also using a PowerStream 520W. You aren't by chance using a 20-to-24 pin ATX adapter? Those are not recommended on the DFI boards.

No power adapter. I tried both sticks individually, slot #2.

So are you using a 20-pin or 24-pin connector? DFI says 20-pin PSU's can also cause stability problems.

You have to click on his user name and then go to public profile. Granted, it's easier when the specs are listed in a sig.

Does anybody else find that when using 2 sticks of RAM in slots #2/4 using an Ulra-D that CPU-Z uses slots #3/4 when checking them in Memory Tab?

Just wondering if that is normal.

I have Ballistix PC4000 but even if I run it at 200Mhz it takes 2.9vdimm in the SLI-DR or I am not any were near stable. And they run best at timings of cas2.5-3-7-3.

Even if thats not the timings you want to end up with, you might try them to get you startred
