Well I think mine is pretty well burned in. Just wanted to let her run a memtest for 24 hours. It is running @ 2-2-2-5 1T perfectly. Here goes the fun part....Overclock time. I need a crash course in ram timings though. How the heck is a person to know what the heck these are supposed to run at? Oh My! I guess I'll just play with them til something goes POP!

Still working on improving RAM speed. Using 3.2v for my KHX3200. The X850XT, by the way, is great. Can run memory at 640MHz in 3DMark artifact-free with stock voltage.

Hey xgman, I can't run 300HTT on the 201 bios, simply can't get memtest to run stable or Windows to even boot. Yet with 125 bios I can do both of those things fine. I'm running 2 x 512MB GSkill LA, and have tried 2 x 512MB OCZ TCCD too. Any ideas? I can't run 2.5-3-3-7 at that speed either The system just halts after device listing (before OS boot) and after a few seconds reboots itself.

that it is.. just canceled my back order for DFI NF4 SLI-DR as there was no ETA on them as all stocks have been sold or allocated already... plus recent user feedback on these boards has been quite mixed

It's not that bad, eva. The board does take some getting used to. Little by little, I'm figuring things out. Today is progressing much better than yesterday.

Hmmm. Smartguardian says my CPU temp is 248C. Did a 3DMark01 run. Stock cooler and stock voltage on the card. 583/640 and no artifacting.

Thanks Blue. I'm having trouble getting higher VDimm to stick. Usually end up getting that dumb "error loading operating system" message. If I can figure that out, I should be off to the races. Right now, I'm using 3.2v with the 3.3 rail running at 3.57v.

Humm.... I measured my vdimm at pin1 in the dimm slot with a fluke and it went like this {3.3 at 3.3}

Choose........Actual
2.6..............2.689
2.7..............2.785
2.8..............2.887
2.9..............2.953
3.0..............3.021
3.1..............3.113
3.2..............3.198

so it over volts a little under 2.9v and then it's just barly on the money.

At some point, I'll put together a list of tips. I just need to spend more time with the board. The tips will all go in the first post in this thread. Much easier to find. From what I can tell, the three boards perform about the same.

dfi nf4, in sub zero temps, cpu 0C = 256C on smartguardian, so 248-256 = -8C temp on cpu
