I'm back again after a bit more testing. Do you guys think that TCCD should be able to run 2.5-3-3-7 1T DDR600 on this board?? I'm now running the 201 bios, and can run DDR600 2.5-4-4-8 1T at 2.84v vdimm, memtest stable. I have just swapped the TCCD for some PC3700 EB i have lying here, so far so good at DDR500 3-2-2-8 1T, but with 3.0v vdimm!! This mobo is proving very strange indeed...

I can't run 2.5-3-3-7 at that speed either The system just halts after device listing (before OS boot) and after a few seconds reboots itself.
what voltage you using? Older tccd can't be up volted much. Maybe it's my "pre-release" board. Wouldn't that be ironic if the pre-hardware update boards clocked better than the retail ones after I sent it back for replacement.

By the way 2.5-4-2-7-1T turns out to be more stable there and make sure to set 3X manually.

I have two lots of TCCD, GSkill and OCZ, both have fairly new chips, which I've heard like voltage more than the old. But regardless of voltage (2.84v to 3.01v), I can't do 2.5-3-3-7. I'll try your timings later Having problems getting either FX-55 to 2.8GHz just now. Man these chips suck...

It's the luck of the draw really, my FX-55 on a Neo2 goes up to 2.95ghz on air, 3.1ghz on water and I'm aiming to push it beyond 3.4ghz on my vapo...

I'm just waiting to see Sierra freeze his chip to see how the DFI "really" does .

I hope you can do 300 2.5-3-3-7, that would be really promising... with g.skill LE I reached those timings at 1T and 2.75v on the Neo2. I think Sierra has a set of LA as well...

Chip is already frozen. So far, I can get similar CPU speed to the Neo2, but not the same RAM speed. That's been a disappointment. The real positive has been graphics performance. The X850XT is a great card. Even when running 3DMark, I can see the difference. Images look sharper. And no artifacting whatsoever with card memory set at 640MHz with stock voltage and stock cooler.

Hey XG, how do you have your audigy and your raid card configured in the pci slots? I have tried my audigy in both pci slots and I get irq errors in games. Not very nice. Maybe there is a difference with the Audigy 4? Shares IRQ's better?

Okay, having a little better luck today. Was able to run 256X13 (3325MHz) with the Kingstons at 3.8v. Used 1.5-2-2-5 timings. A few people have commented that you need more Vdimm with these boards. Some of the multipliers seem a little squirrelly, especially 10.

Will keep testing. But things are starting to look up a little.

I did a 3DMark01 run last night at 3295-3305MHz with lower RAM speed. Got around 37K with stock cooler and stock voltage on the card. Screenshot is in an earlier post.

I'm starting to put some tips in the initial post in this thread. If any of you have any tips or tweaks you'd like to contribute, just let me know.

I agree with you on the 850

Funny my tccd clocked way higher on the test board than on the msi, but I am worried on the retail ver it may have problems.

I have my audigy in the last slot and I switched from the SilIm3124 card to the onboard Nvidia sata's which seem to work fine at 300htt. I haven't noticed any irq issues yet. Some usb issues of failing ports though.

One thing I found out when using the 4v option. VDimm is definitely lower than indicated. When I have it set to 3.6v, my multimeter is reading around 3.45v. Also, setting VDimm to 3.8v in BIOS causes major instability on my board.

I agree, 2.9 was 2.87 even when my 3.3 rail is 3.45v. 2.87 got me to 300htt though. I'm not sure how tccd at 3.1v is good or bad. Can't tell effect yet for sure. Maybe it will hit 2.5-3 instaed of 2.5-4.
