Wow thanks for the super fast answer xgman!

The SLI-D bios does also work with the SLI-DR boards, doesn't it?

N/M made it up myself
Thx again for the link!
Need to flash since my board is WAY strange :-o

My Retail board is overvolting a little with the jumper set to 3.3v.

I'm going to experiment with my 5v rail tonight. Right now, it's set at 5.1v. Maybe lowering it a bit will give me a more accurate VDimm reading. I know the booster was like that.

I believe Blue was reading from Pin-1 at the dimm slot. The 5v jumper is in one corner of the board, to the right of the ATX connector.

Sierra something you my want to know.... This board is overvolting the vcore, and reporting it wrong{lower than it is}

I have it set in the BIOS for 1.55 + 113% which sould give me 1.7515
BIOS is reporting 1.72 vcore
cpuZ is reporting 1.67 vcore

Measured at 2 of the MOSFETS I'm getting "1.793" on my Fluke

I thought as much because I'm used to knowing what temps my MAchII GT puts out at diff voltages, and it was showing -52 load and thats just about right for 1.8vcore

Thanks for the tip, Blue. I'll check my board when I get home tonight. I have it set to 1.5V + 126% (1.82v). So if you're correct, I may actually be running at 1.86v.

I need about 0.05v more VDimm and I'll be happy. If I set it in BIOS to 3.7v, I think I'm really getting around 3.55v. I just want 3.6v.

The vdimm measure point is easy to see.

I measured vcore at the short leg on the MOSFET {middle leg} I have a Pomona lead with a long insulated needle tip so its easy to get in tight spots.

Those measurements may not be so easy with a standard lead, and it's rather fat dull point.

But to me the best place to measure vdimm is the slot it's self you know 100% for sure thats what you mem is getting :wave2:

Does anyone know if two eVGA 6800Ultras will fit into the SLI-DR board? I opened my mobo pkg and pulled out the sli bridge. I can't believe how SMALL it is compared to my ASUS A8N-SLI! It seems to me that there is going to be hardly any room between the two for it to breath like there is on the Asus! Anyone have any comments

Well I have tested my Gskill 1GBLE's @ 2-2-2-5 and sometimes the system will post and sometimes not. Fails memtest big time. If I crank up the vdimm the system won't post at all. In fact, I have to clear the cmos. Then I tested my Gskill 1GBLC and they work perfectly @ 2-2-2-5 with default voltage.

I know the LE's worked perfectly with the A8N-SLI with the above settings. Not sure why this board has some of the issue it does but I'm sure a bios fix will do it. I am using the 125 bios. I think I will try the 201 tonight and see if it fixes these issues. I noticed it had listed some CL2 modules as being fixed.

It should, but it will be extremely tight. I don't think they will breath properly. Just looking at the measurements of the cards and measuring my board. Good luck.
