| Anyone try The Shield Pro 2006 Virus software?? Im looking for a replacement for AVG virus scanner. Ive been looking at some ratings and i see The Shield Pro 2006 took the top, has anyone ever tried it? or what is the best virus program. http://antivirus-software.6starrevie...FRAHOAod43dlkw

| SRTDodge05: If you're willing to purchase AV software, I would definitely go for NOD32; if not, AVG is the best free AV, in my opinion. But as many have said, the problem is not so much viruses but trojans, worms, keyloggers, spyware/adware, etc., so a good free security arsenal would be Ad-Aware SE Personal, ewido Micro, and SpywareBlaster, which are the only three programs I install on my clients' machines who will not pay for security software. However, for AV, I have always recommended NOD; I encourage you to at least give the trial a try. |
