|  New Forum: Security for Networks and Operating Systems I am pleased to announce that we have added a new Forum today to ABXZone titled Security for Networks and Operating Systems. You will find this new Forum in the General Computing Zone, immediately below the Networking & Communications Forum. This new Forum is to be used for threads and posts specifically related to security issues, including security for networks, security for operating systems, software and hardware. This includes firewalls, anti-virus, spyware, malware, etc. We added this new Forum recognizing the importance of security issues these days, and just how vital they are to the membership here. The Moderators will begin reorganizing existing threads into this new Forum starting with stickies, and current threads. Please be patient, this will be a big job, and we will work backwards from current to older threads. Older ones will be moved as they come to the top of the queue. There are practical limits to our manually catching and moving older threads, so if you see a particularly important one that has not been moved, please notify any of the Moderators and we will do out best to move the thread. | ... bump for members logging in .... FYI, about 80 of the security related threads from the last couple of months have now been moved. If you are looking for a thread or post that is security related from the last 2 months, and can't find it elsewhere, check the new Forum, it has probably been moved there. And, if you find an important security related thread that has not yet been moved, please inform any of the Moderators, and they will be glad to help. |

| Ah, you guys read my mind. I was really thinking about asking for a separate forum for security. We have gathered much information collectively on security here lately. I think this idea is warranted and needed! Coolio!!!
