| Anyone have a suggestion on the following? The goal is to prevent security and maintainance people from playing with guest gaming computers in a open room demo center at night. (viewing p0rn, etc) I"m looking for a simple screen lock util (not NT Lock, but a 3rd party program type of lock) The ideal util would allow me to schedule a lock from 8pm to 6am, and 24 hour on the weekend. This would be "good enough" to keep the yahoo's from tinkering with it. Hopefully this ideal util would auto lock even if they rebooted since the time of the day would reflect the state it's in. Does anything like this exhist? More info........ The machines need to stay joined to our company domain so they can be monitored and imaged etc. (Altirirs + NT shares etc) The systems currently autologin at reboot. Our domain have policies that disables the guest account, and enforces as crazy long complex passwords, so that makes doing anything via built NT lock not a likely option. (unless someone says otherwise) Anyone, Anyone? |

| Re: Scheduled (simple non-NT) Screen Lock Unlock evenings weekends Windows SteadyState might accomplish some of this, not sure though. You'd have to read up on it. Might be worth a look see. Search for it on MS website |
