Question anybody here using a cnr sound card?


if so, how's it working and where can I get one?

Do you chance mean CNR riser card?
I'd like to get one of the CNR riser modem/LAn cards myself.
I found one MFR that makes them but, so far, nobody that sells them.
That goes for sound cards as well.
There was one place that had some surplus AMR modems, but no such luck for CNR.
They make this stuff, but seems that nobody sells it other than as OEM equipment in the computers.
I'll have to try for one of the computer shows this coming month...

Yes Wayne you are right. I did mean a cnr card. I get those things all mixed up, what with so many abreviations used now days.
It seems such a waste to have engineered those two slots into the cusl2 and not be able to take advantage of them. Not only does the concept aim to conserve space and money, it would also save on software resources i think.
Anyway, it is a real disappointment not seeing the concept come into reality!
