Exclamation

Whenever I print to my Laserjet 4L, I get a continuous, low-volume "beep" sound in the speakers, connected to a SB Live! Value, see complete system below. It stops when the printing is completed. Printer drivers are the latest from the HP site. Any ideas why ?

This might help.
Look in Device Manager for:
Creative Miscellaneous Devices > Creative SB16 Emulation > Properties > Settings
Make sure Allow LPT Interupt Sharing is checked.
Post your results.

Ooops, Win 2K. I should read more carefully late at night.
How about Control panel > system > hardware > sound > SBlive? or whatever your soundcard is listed as.
I'll reply later tonight with a proper explaination. I triple boot Win 95/98/2K Adv. Server. Since I'm on an overclocking binge right now I'de have to reboot backdown my FSB....blah blah blah( I don't like to run 2K server at the limit, to much damage when things go wrong ie. REINSTALL .
If you fix it post back and let me know.
