|  Well folks I have a problem. I am new to this forum but not new to computers and audio. I have a CUSL2-C that is giving me grief with audio. Media player and all the audio software is freezing randomly causing me to reset the computer. I am a professional recording engineer, using a MOTU 2408 sound card. This card has performed flawlessly for me in a ASUS P2B-f PIII 450. This new system is totally undependable. I have tried all the usual tweaks but the machine will freeze or reboot for now reason just playing a wave file. This machine is used only for audio, no games or internet. I have version 1001 Bios. My system is: Windows 98SE CUSL2-C 256 meg PC 133 ram ATI expert at play 8 meg video card (original drivers) AGP slot MOTU 2408 mark 1 audio card (latest drivers) on Slot 2 MOTU midi timepeice av parallel midi interface (latest drivers) Western digital Hard Drives 20 and 30 gig 7200 ATA 100 drives both on IDE 1 as master and slave Mitsumi 50X CD rom on IDE bus 2 Adaptec 2930 SCSI card for burner and zip drive on Slot 3 Dlink 538 network card on Slot 4 USB and serial port 2 disabled any one have freeze or reset problems that can help? | try updating the bio to 1003

| look at ASUS web site for updated BIOS files...i suggested the 1003 because so many are using it without issues
