GMA 900 ok for laptop???

I am looking at a laptop that has an Intel Graphics Media Accellerator 900 in it and i was wondering

1) How good is the linux driver support?
2) What is the most graphically intense game it would play?
3) is it shared or dedicated VRam?

is it Extreme 1, 2 or GMA 900?

I am only interested in say, Call Of Duty which ran fine on my 8500, so i am hoping it might run on this. Which chipset do you have?

1) Linux Driver Support is Good
2) You are looking on the lines of Half-Life (Not at maxed settings)
3) Shared VRAM

Not a good choice, ATI Xpress 200 Chipset or nVidia 6600GT is the way to go.

well this laptop is around $1300 Canadian, with $300 off instantly at bestbuy, and while i would vastly prefer an XPress 200 or 6600GT its around a $600 price jump.

Is the linux support through an official driver, or is it a high quality OSS driver? Linux is a must on this setup, allthough i can deal with not having wireless in linux if it isnt super easy to setup
