Just how big is the 8800 GTS?

I was checking the newegg customer reviews on the EVGA 8800 GTS 320mb, over and over again everyone commented on how enormously huge the card was.

What are the odds I won't be able to make it fit in my case/motherboard? I actually haven't bought the case or motherboard yet, so I'm trying to take this into consideration when purchasing them. Does it look like it will work with this motherboard?

I don't think it'll be any bigger than an 8800GTX and I got that into my case with a couple of mm's to spare.

You can always measure the space you have then get the card's dimensions off a review or from a card maker's website. That way you'd know for certain.

By the way, anyone on NewEgg state they couldn't get the card to fit?

The 8800GTS is shorter than the GTX. The GTS is 23 cm. (9 inches) in length, while the GTX is 26.9 cm. (10.6 inches)
