New flat screen monitor suggestions...?

Hi all!

Going to be purchasing a new flast screen monitor here pretty soon and wanted to get your input on possible pros and cons on whats out there.

For instance, I heard that 22" screens show fonts, pics, etc. better than 24" screens. So stuff like that would be most helpful to me. I have no clue and any advice and/or input would be most appreaciated.

Thanks!

Anandtech has done a round up of 24" and up lcds. If you have troubles reading text on 20" or 24" displays then 22" would be the sweet spot, because they have the resolution of 20" but at a greater area so things are a little bigger.

I used to have 2 Dell 24-inch monitors at my last job. (2407WFP) They were awesome... very sharp, no problems with text at all, and I have so-so eyesight.
