Hi, I want to upgrade to an Asus CUSL2-C w/ p3 1 ghz. I need to use an M Audio Delta 66 audio card with this system. Does anyone use this setup? I am wondering how the Delta card performs. Are there any hiccups disabling the Asus onboard audio? I am coming from an Athlon and Abit KT7a VIA system. The Delta 66 will not work on this motherboard without producing pops and clicks. However the Delta card works fine in my Abit BX6r2 motherboard. I am just a little wary about jumping to the i815 chipset. I appreciate any info. Matt

I too have a M Audio Delta 44 (same as the 66, just no SPDIF)and am building a DAW around it. I have a CUSL2-C , PIII933, ... I haven't put the system together yet, I still have a few components to buy. I did alot of research before deciding on the CUSL2. Actually , the guys from M-Audio recommended it as a great mobo thats ideal to use with the Delta 44. My only concern is: did I make the right choice buying the "C" (CUSL2 - "C") I thought I read somewhere that the "C" was better for high performance audio, compared to the CUSL2. What exactly is the difference? But getting back to your post...if the techs at M-Audio recommend the ASUS CUSL2 for the Delta Series, then it should be great.

The only difference between a CUSL2 and a CUSL2-C is the C doesn't not have onboard video. They preform exactly the same.
