| X-Fi Titanium PCI-E - Eliminates Crackling on some 4GB Systems This card is pretty nice, overall. The only oddity I've found is that the windows volume controls won't affect the audio levels when using Dolby Digital optical output. Hopefully that will be fixed soon. | Re: X-Fi Titanium PCI-E - Eliminates Crackling on some 4GB Systems I did not get the front panel i/o box; it wasn't for sale yet in the US, where I get most of my computer hardware. I had read somewhere that they might sell it separately, so I'll pick it up if they go that route.

| Re: X-Fi Titanium PCI-E - Eliminates Crackling on some 4GB Systems It appears the odd Dolby Digital behavior may be limited to Vista, or perhaps even Vista x64. I'm still trying to get information from users.
