Re: ASUS P6T Deluxe (x58/ ICH10R)

I never had to reset anything, settings wise. The BIOS has maintained everything configured. Remember I do not overclock though. I did have to reset the power for the system to reboot after a...

Re: ASUS P6T Deluxe (x58/ ICH10R)

I just updated the BIOS, and looked for the conflict resolution when I actually saw it removed from the system I said "What the %#@$%&?!" I don't understand this at all. Why was it removed, and not...

Re: ASUS P6T Deluxe (x58/ ICH10R)

This is not a memory conflict. Think of a memory conflict as like having a senior moment and in that forgetfulness you just stop to think about it as that range is invalid and doesn't contain what...

Re: ASUS P6T Deluxe (x58/ ICH10R)

Asus have improved over the years. The documentation comments always get me though. BIOS setting: This is to enable or disable BIOS setting. No ****! How is that documentation? I have to find...

Re: ASUS P6T Deluxe (x58/ ICH10R)

Because, they do not really report. When I had the Gigabyte motherboard, the ferrite chokes squealed some. When I exchanged it for another the next one was very audible. I spoke to Kyle Bennet of...

Re: Perfectdisk 10 has gone gold

Yes, the latter version did it too. You need to make the change twice. Then it will stick.

Re: Perfectdisk 10 has gone gold

It seems that all will receive their keys this coming Tuesday the 27th. If you would like to check it out and at least have it on your system before the key here is the FTP address for it: ...

Re: ASUS P6T Deluxe (x58/ ICH10R)

I have a 940, so me default is just a little higher. Almost everything is on auto. Vdroop is on disable as per Intel spec, the higher C states are enable with the variables of them on auto, and...

Re: ASUS P6T Deluxe (x58/ ICH10R)

I just took a look and what you are talking about is the exact redundant settings I mentioned. As you know my setting for the AI overclock tuner is at manual. However, both do show under AI tweaker...

Re: ASUS P6T Deluxe (x58/ ICH10R)

Yes, it can be very confusing and that as to why I mentioned that the only way to measure your voltage, truly close enough, is through a multimeter. I am trusting CPUz more, than other clock...

Re: ASUS P6T Deluxe (x58/ ICH10R)

It is strange to have the control, it seems. But I think it can make since for some overclocker. This is something though beyond the BIOS. With Vista it will default to balance, and what the power...

Re: Changingn my Router Speed

I would not use an optimizer at all. Actually, it is and most likely unnecessary. First, start off with a trace from your end and then a trace from work to you. Pathping is really good for this. ...

Re: ASUS P6T Deluxe (x58/ ICH10R)

This is one thing that I noticed since socket 775. A lot of the DIY installers do not push the feet all the way into the motherboard. It can be scary, because sometimes it can require a bit of...

Re: ASUS P6T Deluxe (x58/ ICH10R)

It has to be 3.26 because at 2.26 he should be crashing, really.

Re: Wireless-n speeds with WPA2 only?

Some N's are not compatible and some even are crippled when not using WPA. This can be read at Small Net Builder.

Re: ASUS P6T Deluxe (x58/ ICH10R)

Which one is it? Because if the voltage dropped a full point that is not within spec. If it dropped within 3.26 that is completely within spec of any PSU. The 3.3v is important with the Core i7...

Re: ASUS P6T Deluxe (x58/ ICH10R)

Re: ASUS P6T Deluxe (x58/ ICH10R)

One interesting thing I found, and apparently others have too. I noticed that turbo mode did not seem to be active. Although CPUz would have the processor clock to that of what would be considered...

Yes it is and should be on the driver disk too. Chuck show me a screen of your IRQ's. Same thing in device manager but do a view as resource by connection. Scroll down to the latter end.
