Re: Intel Rolls Out "Light Peak"
Not unless it has a dongle for my 6 thumb drives, 2 external HD, HD dock, external card reader.....and on and on....just like Apple to go to this and make all your older stuff not work! Build in absolution of perfectly good stuff....If you don't have a few extra seconds to transfer files?????????? That's why I like USB3.0 its faster but doesn't make all your older USB2 stuff absolute!

Re: Intel Rolls Out "Light Peak"
Well Apple came out with the new laptops and they have Light Peak but they also have USB too....so it's sort of like Firewire 800, they give you the choice!

Absolutely!
![]() At least if the price is right. It will make my backups to external drives so much faster.
