Good for you, I should have an Intel D925XCVLK coming this week. I plan on using Corsair XMS 533 memory. Haven't decided on a power supply yet or video card. I noticed the ASUS was a pretty penny, I was surprised the Intel one was only $215.00. What processor are you going to get? Good luck with the board.

I haven't decided if I want to get a real cheap Prescott to test the board out and then get the 3.6 when it comes out or just go for the 3.4 now. I am hoping I can get either an ATI X800 XT PCIe or NVidia 6800 Ultra equivalent. It shouldn't be long before those cards start showing up and there won't be a big demand for them at all.

I'm really not sure why people are spending so much money for a loss in performance right now, but I guess it's your money. I mean really, I like having the latest tech, if it means improvement, but at this point, when you lose performance, what is the point? Just my $0.02

I am more than looking forward to getting this. It will be a better board than the D875PBZLK as long as the new socket turns out to be dependable enough and there is no better board than the PBZ IMO. Prescotts are as cheap or cheaper than Northwoods and have the same performance, they also OC well from what I've read. In case you haven't heard, the 915/925 chipsets are PCIe, they have great onboard audio compared to no audio before, have NCQ, faster MCH/memory bus, 4 SATA and 3 Firewire ports, Matrix RAID, etc. so there is plenty of improvement.
