Anyone using Parallels workstation for windows ?

I was thinking that this may be an option for me since there are alot of distros I want to try ...

I read somewhere that you can run an ISO without burning it.

Looking for feedback

Re: Anyone using Parallels workstation for windows ?

I use Virtualbox 1.5.2. I have run Ubuntu on it with no issues. They don't specifically list which distros they support, their setup is fairly generic by kernel. I do not believe they support the absolute newest test kernels yet.

Parallels is the only virtualization software I am aware of that has no free version. This is kinda lame.

For max flexibility you may want to consider VMWare since their solution can run 64-bit clients, if you want to try 64-bit variants of Linux.

The ability to mount ISOs directly is in most virtualization products.
