I love AIX, solaris not so much. I used solaris and AIX a longside eachother for many years.

As for the mac comment i'm just not a fan of mac. (:

I dont think Linux has enough market skills JUST YET to pull this off. Like in one of my old threads ( http://www.abxzone.com/forums/f48/wa...es-112605.html ) big business dosent think so either.

I only see Linux's usage increasing in the next few years. Ubuntu has brought Linux a long way toward increasing public awareness, usability and support for Linux. Other distros are emulating Ubuntu's support forums and such, and a lot of distros are moving toward a unified online way to distribute software updates.

With the increasing usage of OSX and Linux, Microsoft is only going to feel tighter and tighter when it comes to their software releases. To their benefit, though, the PR fiasco that has been Vista will probably ensure Windows 7 will be a pretty solid product.
