Fedora 10

Although I am playing around with openSUSE 11.1 (I am such a flirt ), my day-to-day Linux distribution has been Fedora for the last year or so. Fedora 8 was remarkably smooth and stable. My proof is that I stopped posting on the Linux forums I usually frequent, since I was using my computer rather than troubleshooting it.

I looked at Fedora 9 when it was released, but a lot of people were having problems with it. One symptom of this was that the Fedora Forums had record postings (and slowdowns) during that time. Even through I downloaded the iso and even printed the disk, I never got around to installing it, since it looked like it would be a major headache.

Now Fedora 10 is out and it looks like a winner for most of us. (The wireless networking support still seems to be lacking, but I cannot honestly say I've investigated it closely enough to know this for sure. It does seem to take a back seat to openSUSE, though.) I am using the KDE 4 desktop environment pretty much "as is." Although some of the menus moved around a bit, it looks pretty much like KDE 3.x.

Anyway, consider this thread as a place to add any random thoughts about the distribution or act as a point where people can ask questions.
