Anyone know how to replace a video driver on an EISA recovery partition?

The videocard on my MD7818U gateway laptop isn't good for gaming at all so I wonder how I would go about replacing the video driver on the EISA partition so it will automatically install. Chances are I wont do it anyway because it will ruin my warranty but I just want to know how for when the time comes and it's not covered.
