Microsoft Office 2003 Installation Menu is Gibberish

I was attempting to uninstall/install MSOffice 2003 Pro on a Windows XP Pro SP3 system. The menu that appeared was full of gibberish instead of text. Pls see the link below for a screenshot:

This was not the case a few weeks ago. I tried re-installing Windows Installer, but no luck. I'm really needing to re-install MSOffice.

Thanks for any replies!

Re: Microsoft Office 2003 Installation Menu is Gibberish

That is strange. Does everything else look ok in windows it self? Is it possible the install files are corrupt? You may have a font problem. Have you installed any fonts that do not come in windows? If you have many added font types I have seen strange things happen. Have you scanned your PC for Mal-ware? Even it you have, no AV program finds everything. You might want to try another product just to be sure you do not have any nasties.
MBAM is a good free manual scanner that can be run a long side nearly any AV program. Malwarebytes.org
Hitman Pro is another good free manual scanner. It uses several big name scan engines so it should find stuff others may miss. It has no removal engine in the free version but if it finds anything you can buy it or use another product for removal. Home - SurfRight

Thanks for the reply!

I found the solution at:

Are You Missing Fonts from the Fonts Folder? at Registry Guide for Windows

It was a Font registration issue. I followed the instructions in the above site and solved my problem! Thanks again.
