Re: Folding again!
Well, I've noticed that DBoone has upped his PPD
I'm dropping atm, I took a look at my year to year electric bill and we are paying too much. So I've stopped all GPU folding and I'm trying to dial in my two quad cores.

Re: Folding again!
Just a little bit. I'm still concerned about my electric bill too.

Re: Folding again!
I have stopped folding also, with the cost of electricity now. It is just not affordable to continue.

Re: Folding again!
Well, with the "summer" we had this week, I've had to throttle down my Ci7 to 3.6GHz. Plus I've been gaming a bit more, so my output will be going down. I could throttle it down to 3.2GHz during the summer, but then I notice that it's more sluggish - so I won't.
I'm going to move my pair of GTX 260 (216) to a cooler case so that maybe I can keep one machine running during the summer (it's off right now because it's in too small of a case). My Q6600 and i7 920 will probably wind up being shut down early unless "spring" resumes it's normal course.

Re: Folding again!
Well, our electric company just finished just finished a $400M expansion, so now they can add a surcharge to our bills. I'm down to one folding client now, and that may go to zero soon. It's been fun...

Re: Folding again!
I noticed that I was catching up again.
Installed the new v7 client and my ppd went up quite a bit. Just for fun I've let it fold around the clock for the last week or so but as you noted XJ that's too expensive. Especially out here in in California where the politicians have driven up the costs with there "renewables" mandates.
