Re: Radeon 7000 seires;
No Rambus XDR2. The cards will be using GDDR5. And yes, ATI/AMD must have hit it out of the park performance-wise, given the high pricing. The new cards will have greatly improved compute capabilities, so hopefully they'll be folding monsters like Fermi is.

Re: Radeon 7000 seires;
Nothing! Plus a Nvidia card works with 2 montiors without flickering!

Re: Radeon 7000 seires;
The current rumour is January.
AMD will be the first to launch a 28nm graphics chip and as you can imagine Radeon HD 7970 will be significantly faster than Radeon HD 6970. Faster than a 580? It's got to be otherwise AMD would be competing against itself. Nvidia is not far off with it's new part, Kepler, which will challenge the 7000. Should be an interesting year for graphics and gaming, unlike 2011.

Re: Radeon 7000 seires;
Of course if they do rollout in Jan then prices will be high for the first couple of months. I remember the 69xx's prices dropped back to normal after a couple of months.
But that's ok as it gives Nvidia time to release it's part and us time to review the benches.
