Mass Effect 3
Has anyone tried this one yet? I haven't played the other 2 so I don't know much about it. I'm not really a RPG kinda guy. However, graphics wise it looks pretty nice and it's getting smoking reviews. You don't see 9.5 very often. Does it have at least a bit of a FPS feel? I don't know, just would be interested in some opinions. Especially from my good buds here who know somewhat what kinda games I play and like
![]() I didn't see a Mass Effect thread here (ran search) but if I missed it somehow feel free to move this to the existing thread. I guess I'm just a little surprised there isn't one already here with all the hype about it. ![]()

Re: Mass Effect 3
I can't speak to ME3, but ME2 requires a lot of time investment to really enjoy.
One thing I found was that even though the graphics are nice the levels often seemed empty of objects and consequently a little boring visually. It's all about the characters and dialog and the choices that you make. Need to spend 2 hours per session mimimum IMO, but that's only my opinion.

Re: Mass Effect 3
I fired it up yesterday. Evidently it has 3modes you can play in. Adventure, story, and one other I can't think of right now. When I started the game I got caught in a very long cut scene that there was no way to escape out of. Finally I got to the options menu when the scene finally ended.I turned up the res to 1920x1080 but then the screen got all scrambled so there is some kind of driver issue. I'll have to see if I can fix it later.

Re: Mass Effect 3
It's this game where you run around shooting all these spammers with various weapons. My favorite is the flame thrower.
