Couldn't find it. I will probably get an EVGA card and preferably the Superclocked version. It might be cheaper to get the EVGA water cooled card instead of an EVGA card plus buy another block. Thing is it would be harder to sell a water cooled card later.

Re: Nvidia GTX 680 Reviews are in!

Well this is called 680 which would indicate top model.. anyone else read that nvidia intended this as an entry model? Unless I read something wrong..

Supposedly, this fall, NV will the release the GF100, or BigK. Probably 50% more CCs and 30% greater performance (slower core clock). It may be called the GTX 780, or it could be pixie dust

Re: Nvidia GTX 680 Reviews are in!

I most likely will be getting the EVGA SuperClocked+ with back plate and then water cooling it.

EVGA GTX 680 Superclocked now official

Re: Nvidia GTX 680 Reviews are in!

There as good as any. Samsung seems to be popular also. I would buy from NewEgg that way you have the best recourse if it is a dud.

Re: Nvidia GTX 680 Reviews are in!

OK I was trying to fing your post FVB because I was going to add this:
http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=1510320

I am liking this card now. It has a cool red LED, the backplate is included, it is Superclocked, it has a nickel backed block, it has a bracket to hold the block to the rear bracket, and some other cool things. The EVGA HydroCopper is clocked higher than any of the other EVGA cards I imagine. I don't know the cost but the Superclocked+ with backplate is $529 and then the EK waterblock will be around $120 more. So I'll see how much this card cost. Should be out in two weeks.

Re: Nvidia GTX 680 Reviews are in!

Prices and availability here are horrendous.
I'm looking at $680 to $750 AUD, which, IMO, is price gouging.
(For comparison that's $704 to $776 USD).

That's about identical to 7970 pricing too, although some of those can be found for as "low" as $660 AUD.
