That picture I posted, I use to go to the very bow and lean over looking down after I had dinner and soak the sea in. I also hung out at the stern watching the screws turn the sea. I still have salt on me.

I have definitely spent time leaning over the rails depositing my contribution to Neptune!

Re: Samsung 830 SSD!

Great Review - Thanks. From my own experience, they do need to improve the "Magician Software" in regards to "Secure Erase". Other than that: Perfect!

Re: Samsung 830 SSD!

If you create a CD from Magician Software to perform the erase, and boot up from the CD:

you may need a PS/2 mouse connected as a USB mouse will lock-up the program; and if the screen appears garbled, then jusy hit the "Y" key a couple of times.

Much easier to use Diskpart/Clean all!

Thanks Jim, but I no longer have the drives. The writes fell
way down and Garbage collection wasn't working in RAID-0.
I was able to return them, so I did so...

Oh, that not good. Bad enough that trim doesn't work in raid.

Yeah that's the main reason I returned them while I could.
GC is working fine with the Intel 520's in RAID...
