Microsoft - great characterization

I stumbled on this phrase and I never read such a to-the-point characterization about Microsoft and their products:

"The first time you'll get a Microsoft product, that doesn't suck
will be the day they start producing vacuum cleaners."

That's funny. So if MS did build vacuum cleaners even they would suck because they wouldn't suck.

Myself I have always liked MS products, from Windows to keyboards, mice, and joysticks. I know a lot of programmers are eccentric and easily criticize MS code development but I do not have an issue with Windows too much. It works.

The one thing I notice about MS is they always seem to rub out the 3rd party software. Windows does every little utility now that was ever written by 3rd parties such as ghosting/backup, burning DVD's, picture/video editors, messaging, etc. Stardock software was rising with Win8.1 enhancements and after MS sees their popularity they revise the OS.

Exactly, that's the funny thing about it. Great word game. I think it's called in latin "a contradictio in terminus".
