IE is broken.

I am a very loyal and steadfast person but IE has gotten to the point of ruining my browsing. First issue was infinitely seeing the same page in the back button. I still see this from time to time. Now, incredibly I get a message on the screen saying IE has to close. It happens while just sitting on a page and doing nothing. You do not have time to even read the page. I have since reluctantly moved to Chrome.

I just tried going back to IE11 and have the same problems has you, so I'm back on Chrome, but it has its own problems, nothing perfect!

Re: IE is broken.

IE is fast but I am quickly noticing with Chrome I do not get nearly the amount of popups as I do with IE. Some more experimentation has to take place.

I started troubleshooting the issue and was told the 'IE must close message' can be from Office issues. I was led to an MS utility called OFFCAT. It is pretty neat and trouble shoots all of MS Office. I have a few bugs in mine that I am working on fixing.

The other repair suggestion was getting updates to IE and doing a reset of the Explorer settings.

Re: IE is broken.

Chrome is faster for me by far especially on one site I've been on for 6 years playing a battle mode....
