Asus Chromebook Flip or Samsung Chromebook Plus?

Been looking at these 2 chromebooks convertibles since CES, would be a nice replacement for my Samsung Tab Pro 12 inch tablet that I have....here's 2 videos of each!

Re: Asus Chromebook Flip or Samsung Chromebook Plus?

Me too, I think it's going to be $550, with the Intel M3, the only thing is no back light keyboard and the speakers are on the bottom so when you have it in tablet mode they are covered up, the Asus has a lighted keyboard and the speakers are on the side?

Re: Asus Chromebook Flip or Samsung Chromebook Plus?

Chrome OS is all 75% of all computer uses really need, probably higher, my friends wife had a HP desktop and all she did was check email and browse the net, I don't know how many viruses she got and how many times I cleaned her computer. So I told her to get a Chrome Box and use her monitor and mouse and keyboard, she's had it for over 2 years now and not one problem, couldn't be happier! Chrome books are now the number one computer for schools, cheap, easy to keep up to date and they do what is needed in a class room....its going to be fun getting this new one....

Re: Asus Chromebook Flip or Samsung Chromebook Plus?

Yeah you got that right, I don't think Windows OS is going to be necessary after a few years. Once Office loses it's hold I think any other OS can handle the social, web, and minor utilities. I have finally started watching movies on my PC, I also use it for music and games. So email, browser and the above is about it. MS learned quick they better not charge much for Windows.
