New Surface Book...

Hey guys turned in me ipad for the Surface Book. So far I'm
liking it, it is a 2 in 1. I like the projecting onto me tv wireless
HDMI... The thing I REALLY like is setting in me recliner in front
of oled tv, and able to use the swipe feature in directly, on the big
screen. Really nice... Also enjoy me iphone 7 plus. Can ya imagine
20 years of being in electronics and its me first cell phone, great PC,
great cell phone, great 2 in 1 laptop, yep I'm setting pretty...

Here's a review... Microsoft Surface Book i7 (2016) review - CNET

Here's a review... Microsoft Surface Book i7 (2016) review - CNET
Congrats bud - I just saw my mate's Surface Pro 4 this week and was quite impressed with the form factor and build quality - can't wait to see what Redmond has in store for the Surface 5. To be honest, I am now looking forward to Ryzen mobile parts, primarly because Intel's roadmap is looking as uninteresting as ever with the new PAO release cadence. Kaby Lake is a marginal improvement at best over Skylake, and I do not expect Coffee Lake to be any different, notwithstanding to what extent Optane plays a role in the Z3XX chipsets. In any case, Cannonlake 10nm will simply be a die shrink, and Icelake (Architecture) is at least 2 years away. Sorry for the digression - enjoy the new hardware!

Quote of the net... "A great laptop is about the specs, certainly, so the Surface Book delivers there. On the base $1,500 model, you get an i5 processor, 128GB of solid-state storage, and 8GB of RAM." This is the one I have, I got a better
price @ $1199.

Without the base the key board last, between 3-4 hrs. It can also be used as
a tablet with the key board, and around 10 hrs before a needed charge...
