Re: New HDR Gaming Monitors

Yeah, I believe they have an identical version in IPS that is only 60Hz and then they make this one that it something better than TN or an improved TN at 100Hz. What gets my interest is this is a screen size I could live with 1440 x 3440 and a friend has the OMEN and loves the screen.

Seems really pricey for a non IPS screen?

Re: New HDR Gaming Monitors

Well G-Sync adds $100-400 dollars onto a monitor.

Re: New HDR Gaming Monitors

I know it is bad to leave IPS but I don't want a 60Hz monitor and I want G-Sync. The panel is AMVA+ w/LED backlight.

Advanced MVA is quite a bit better than TN or VA. Probably the second best panel compared to IPS. I would love to have a 100Hz monitor and not just because of games.
