About this Time, 10 Years ago...

Its about this time 10 years ago that the anticipation for Crysis had built up to a very high level of expectation. There were vids and demos being released pretty often after it had been shown at E3.
The discussion around this time was about how it might look on XP/DX9 vs Vista/DX10.

Cant believe its nearly 10 years...

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl had been out a few months already.
We were in the eye of the storm, so to speak, between two great titles that were destined to become PC classics.

Talk about spoilt! Those were some glory days for PC gaming, alright

Haha, wow, time flies. I was still in college - wish I could go back. Also, the GeForce 7XXX series was all the rage back then!
