Just read your post Skully, congrats! I haven't looked into it but Magician might not support RAID, probably need IRST.

Massdrop? Have you considered the P4 or HDP6 with the N22 amplifier? You should also consider what I have not because of the speakers but because of the N22 amplifier. Here are the plus sides to the N22.
  • Allows you to turn amp completely off
  • Speakers are absolutely dependable
  • Best audio volume control I have ever used
  • Knob controls speakers or HP's
  • Has front HP jack
  • You never mess with the front or back of your speakers
  • Amp runs cooler
  • Speakers weigh a lot less
  • Only 1 speaker wire to each speaker
  • Amp still the most awesome looking device on my desk

Don't forget, If you buy any Audioengine equipment Audioengine gives you a 30 day trial period no questions asked.

Re: * Samsung 960 PRO m2, RAID-O *

Yeah I meant drivers/Magician. Both might not work in RAID. Not sure. Easy enough to Google this one.

Re: * Samsung 960 PRO m2, RAID-O *

Well I through with Samsung 960 Pro's, to hot, to ugly, to much trouble...
The one that stands up is ugly, and the one under the heat sink way to hot.
Maybe another time, with a different layout for m.2 drives... Was short lived
fun, back to me Intel 750 1.2 tb....

Thats why I have the Anglebird heatsink, nice white leds, cooler than the 750 and to me better looking...my 2 cents. I wouldn't want any other solution for M.2 Skully, your right to hot and the upright stand like Sandog said is just a accident waiting to happen...stupid idea!

Yea I'll wait until ASUS implements a better design for a RAID-0.
I do have to say, It was fast, 14/15 sec from hitting the power on
button the desk top...
