Hurricane Irma

Here's hoping good good ol' southern Florida can come out of the storm with as little carnage as possible. Traveler and others we know live down there.

Yes I agree with you Sandog, I have a very good friend that I worked with for about 15 years that lives in Lake Wales.

Re: Hurricane Irma

Earlier this year I drove all through Florida and the Keys. Based on my observations Miami will fare relatively ok. The Keys will be a different story. Hope all turns out well. Certainly nice folks I met there. Especially in Homestead.

Re: Hurricane Irma

Hey guys, stay safe.
My son has been monopolizing the Internet lately, and quite frankly I've been bored. Hope all is well with everyone. I will see about popping in more frequently.

Re: Hurricane Irma

It was pretty crazy Sunday night. We were on the left side of the eye. No major damage at our house, but there were trees inside 2 houses on our block.
She ripped a gutter off the house, pushed the doors of our shed in and blew out a roof panel, and broke one of our crepe myrtles.
We prepared as best we could and that helped a lot, but we were also very lucky.
Thanks for checking in guys.
