Which AM2 mobo?

I have been having some stability issues lately (discussed in another thread). I have reason to believe that the mobo may be slowly dying under the stress of the am2 6400+.

There are so many nvidia and amd chipsets, which have people had luck with? From some reading, it seems that many nvidia chipsets have weird quirks, but AMD/ATI boards have weak southbridges.

The three things I am most concerned with:

1) stability
2) passive cooling
3) price - probably $125 max, maybe $150 if it is really worth it.

SLI, extreme overclocking are not necessary.

Pretty much any 780/790 full-ATX board will do fine. Micro-ATX boards have had issues support CPUs with higher power draws, like the 6400+.
