Yeah, you think I will be trading in my $1K 10-core? I would take a loss and for what? Although I won't say never. Intel will probably produce more cores to stay ahead of AMD so I would not be surprised if the next 10 core moves on down to where the current 8 core is and if it also has higher IPC and a bug fix it might be worth a look see. You know the old saying, there is always something better coming out.

BTW, I forced Windows updates one time yesterday and it got me all the way up to 214. I recommend moving past the issue quickly. You might stave off the performance increase but you are susceptible to catching the bug.

Re: Windows 10 Tips, Tricks, and Know How.

Guys, I meant to say I won't be posting new fixes/topics in this single thread. It will get lost and never read again. What I am going to do is anytime I want to talk about a Win10 subject I will start a new thread. Threads are much easier to look up and find. For example I would start a new thread entitled Windows 10 Backup that would be solely on that topic.

Re: Windows 10 Tips, Tricks, and Know How.

Here is a tip. If you get the white notebox in the bottom right taskbar (new notification) more than twice you need to fix what is generating it. I had two messages coming up constantly for months and I just now fixed them. My notification box stays black now and I do not get any more popups. It is staying quiet as a mouse.

I had the infamous "Scan to computer is no longer activated” notification for months and months as well as "Battery Time Remaining Less Than 2min" notification. Anytime you have a notification reappearing you can Google ways to fix it or else they become annoying.
