Any Windows Insiders here?

So I've been a Windows Insider on the Fast Ring for well over 3-4 years now - always enjoyed testing the latest and greatest features before everyone else. As you all know, Redstone 4 (i.e, the Spring Creators Update) should hit RTM soon, but the folks over at Redmond are already pushing out Redstone 5 builds with some neat new features.

The latest build 17618 has a new feature called sets, which lets you aggregate applications in a tabbed interface for an extremely tight and efficient workflow. See below.

Quote:
Sets: Sets is designed to make sure that everything related to your task: relevant webpages, research documents, necessary files, and applications, is connected and available to you in one click. Starting today in RS5 builds, we have turned the Sets experiment back on so any Insider who has opted into Skip Ahead will be able to try out Sets. With Sets, 1st party experiences like Mail, Calendar, OneNote, MSN News, Windows and Microsoft Edge become more integrated to create a seamless experience, so you can get back to what’s important and be productive, recapturing that moment, saving time – we believe that’s the true value of Sets. Additional app integration with Sets is expected over time.
I have to say I've been very impressed at the rate at which Windows 10 has evolved in terms of refinements as well as new features. I can't even remember the last time macOS (aka OS X) got a single useful feature since 10.5 (Leopard) - feels like the whole Mac hardware and software platform has been languishing under Tim Cook. way to go Microsoft!

Any Insiders at the zone?

Re: Any Windows Insiders here?

I believe this will be a very powerful tool in the office.
I personally work across many themes, or subjects, in a typical day and can see how it would be useful for me from day 1.

At home, not so much. I tend to work on one project at a time at home!

I'm curious as to the collaborative aspect. I can imagine a shared team set, for example.

Yep, that's the one. It was introduced in an earlier build, then redacted, and now reintroduced in this latest build.

I watch Windows Weekly every week with Mary Jo Foley and Paul Thurrott, and this was on the last episode....good show with a lot of good info on whats going on in Redmond.
