Newegg images slow

When I click on the image of a Newegg product, the image takes a long time to appear in Firefox 4.
It's twenty times faster in Chrome, proving that it's not my computer or Newegg causing the delay.

What Firefox 4 setting must I change?

Re: Newegg images slow

When talking about time it is relative as in how long is long? I just went to newegg using FF-4 and it opened everything I clicked on in less than a second. More like in half a second really. I don't know what it is you are having the problem with or any settings that might effect your browser. I don't have any anti-virus program running so maybe that is what is going on. I know those programs can be too aggressive and can slow things down. The main reason I don't like to run them and choose not to.

Re: Newegg images slow

It's typically 15 seconds for one Newegg image in Firefox 4.

Since Google Chrome takes less than one second, I don't think it's my antivirus (Norton 360), but rather it's a setting in Firefox.

Re: Newegg images slow

Wow, you were not kidding about 20 times longer. Wish I could help. Have you tried going into system processes and ending Norton to see if that helps?
