Clearing Temp Internet files

I notice my IE started draging real bad. Couldn't find out why. I have my temp files set to delete on cloesing browser. For some reason it has started not doing it. Anybody have a guess?

Yup - you observe correctly. "Empty on close" is the ticked option, yet sometime later you can do it manually and it'll display an hour-glass cursor for 30 seconds or more. Noticed this years ago - my conclusion was "typical MS" and now I do it myself.

1) Trim-down Temp Int Files to a manageable 20-50Mb
2) Manually delete Temp Int Files (via Internet Properties) every time you are done with IE for that session

Best I can offer bar a third-party program. Not much effort tho, and works well.
