Ie7 Fast!!

Maybe it's just me......

But I find IE7 to be EXTREMELY fast!!

And once I got used to the tab features-----it has been a great move for me....

And this coming from a Microsoft basher.....

I like, as I don't have to have the third party Avant Browser on my system anymore. I've noticed that it is faster than IE6, way faster.

I installed it last night, seems pretty fast, will take a little getting used to. Will try it for a while on my main machine before installing on the other XP machines. I had to reconfigure my folding clients as they would not send the completed work units after the IE7 install.

Hmm... I've been having difficulty find my work group since installing IE7 - first I just thought it was a strange problem - but you comment makes me wonder.

Just a passing thought that network settings are being affected somehow. My wireless nic work flawlessly until I installed IE7 - this is really weirding me out.

XJ, I'm starting to think possibly your wireless card is starting to die, or something with your Windows Configuration went to blazes.

I'm running TCPIP version 6 on my XP system, and don't have any problems with IE7.

The wireless card is ok. Must be a coincedence. Bugger, I suppose I'll be beating my brains out finding the problem.

I can't get personalized favorites to work. I have tried enabling, disabling. A check of the registry shows that it is enabled. Maybe it takes a while, I am not sure.

May be it's just me, but I think the new Firefox 2.0 is super fast. Can't compare it to IE7, because I just don't use it. IE7 was launched and within hours a major security vulnerability was discovered. A never ending story with M$.

But did you know that the security vulnerability, actually doesn't exist in IE7, but exists only Outlook Express, so don't believe everything you read from Secunia.

I find IE7 way faster than IE6 for loading and rendering webpages, and I no longer have to have a tabbed browsing extension or run a 3rd party web browser anymore.
