Trying to guage interest in older system parts and possible pricing...

Intel Q8400 Core 2 Quad Processor

https://www.amazon.com/Intel-Q8400-P...keywords=Q8400

Gigabyte EP45-UD3L Motherboard...

Gigabyte Technology GA-EP45-UD3L, LGA 775/Socket T, Intel Motherboard | eBay

Board is not refurb...original part that still works

Patriot DDR2-800 8 GB Kit 4-4-4-12

https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...condition=used

MSI N9600-512

Dual DVI/VGA Video Graphics Card 512MB GDDR3 MSI NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT PCI-E | eBay

Friend of mine decided to give up desktop and go laptop. All parts in good condition and in working order. Think there will be any interest? Price ideas???

Thanks

I sold a Q9550 with a Giga-byte board with 8GB ram and a big cpu cooler fan for $75.

What I did, instead, was cleaned the machine up, added a new hard drive...installed Windows 10 Home. Machine ran great...then donated it to a local NO kill animal shelter in Carrollton, TX called Operation Kindness:

Operation Kindness

They were elated with the new machine. Each time I had a machine of my own to recycle...I gave it to OK. For every computer donated...it means the monies to directly to the dogs and cats. Very helpful and saves lives

Re: Trying to guage interest in older system parts and possible pricing...

I would really like to build a 875P-based Northwood rig - just for nostalgia. In fact, I managed to find 2.8Ghz Northwood P4 (SL6Z5, 30 caps, M0 stepping) on eBay for $12. I just need to find cheap DDR400 RAM.
