Re: SpeedTest.net

I am very happy with Spectrum (Charter/Time-Warner). 100/10 seems great, and the video quality on the TV has improved a bit.

Two piece internet interface: Sagemcon Router and Arris Modem. Stacks nice. Router has b,g,n, and ac. Improvement over Frontier's.

Roku, two ipads, three EZVIZ cameras and an iphone, no problems!

The biggie is they have a robo call blocker that seems to work.

Sounds Great Jim, the AC router is where you get the best speeds on wifi, distance not so much!

Re: SpeedTest.net

The 2.4 band has the best coverage but lower speeds. the 5.0 band has faster speeds but less coverage. I have the Asus AC3100 and it works pretty good.

Re: SpeedTest.net

I have all my devices including security cams on 2.4 Roku is on 5.0

Two wood-framed sheetrock walls between Router and Roku

Hard-wiring Roku is a real chore - wireless appears to be working fine.

Good deal, I do have my 2 eero's hooked up with a 100 ft cat 6 cable and a switch from my office to the front room, with a open basement it made it easy. So all my stuff in the front room is hooked up with a cable from a 8 port switch.

Maybe you've got so much stuff because you have a basement?
I moved house a little while ago and got rid of a lot of stuff I was hoarding and didn't need. Made enough cash to pay for the costs of the move!

Re: SpeedTest.net

I like having a man cave and a office in the basement. My daughter has her play room to make a mess in. Keeps the upstairs very clean other then the kitchen.

I like my Camper and Pickup Truck. When they knock on the door too much - I drive off on a road trip!
