Well it is hard for me or many others to rate your score since you now own a 34" monitor. Highest I can go is 1440P but your scores seems very high for a 34" monitor.

I reran it using your resolution and here's that score. 5252 at 2560x1440 full screen. Close to your 5380 Sandog.

When I was playing Portal the fan speed was only at 763 rpms, maybe my fan profile took?

Re: Unigine Valley

I am telling you FVB, GPUT 1 does not work correctly as far as making a custom fan profile. If you were to leave it at stock I believe it works (Fan Control in AUTO) but I do not like the stock fan profile.

Here is the stock fan profile. It is the same for all modes and never changes AFAIK.

I am going to send you a PM.

Thanks a lot..loving it so far, Sandog helped me get GPU Tweak set up and I have my fan profile just right, running Valley benchmark I get to 68C and can barely hear the fans and that's only with the sound off and my head next to the case!

Re: Unigine Valley

Well I have been running Valley a lot today and notice I have not eclipsed a score of 5300 once. I got 5380 once with my card. I know there is a 100-200 point variance depending on what you have running and in system memory so I rebooted and quickly ran Valley without even opening GPU Tweak monitor and I only got like 5282. Then I realized something, I turned my CPU overclock down from 4.6GHz to 4.3GHz a couple of weeks ago.

Re: Unigine Valley

My Valley and Heaven don't seem to push the cpu past its factory state
of 3.6GHz. Doesn't do Turbo(3.8) or my OC (4.3)

I bring up one of these in Nomal window mode (not maxed or min), and
watch CPU-Z.

Sandog does your's use the OC when you run the benchmark?

Mine should, I see it reaching the max turbo frequency all the time just when when I open CPU-Z.

I know Xeon's do not reach as high but if you think you have an issue it is more than likely in BIOS. I believe you have to have default settings for the Advanced CPU settings so all the auto frequency clocking features are enabled and then you have to have Turbo or Ratio-Tuning enabled in Tweaker menu.

I really like the systems of today. First off, I make hardly any changes in BIOS any longer so I am not too far from default or aptly named Optimum settings. The other thing is with all the auto frequency and power control my X99 looks like a laptop to the power supply. The same controls that allow it to go so low enable it to go so high. Right now I have 3 cores at 4.3GHz and the other 3 cores at 4.1GHz and I can see them moving.
