I'm sure it will be once 3.0 is native to the mother board. I think you need to be booted into windows for 3.0 speeds. Correct me if I am wrong. I have win 7 on a 3.0 flash drive. Install didn't seem any faster. Still it beats the DVD route.

I think you are right. I have to install the driver for it after a reinstall of windows.

Definately This works.We can install windows 7 with pendrive .I have experinced this .We have to create an iso file of the os and also get a software called d "Windows 7 USB/DVD Tool" to the pendrive.I experienced this because had some problem with ejecting dvd writer
