Re: Folding again!

Crazer has had a couple of good weeks - I hope you can keep it going

I'm back in fifth place again and looking forward toward hitting 10M points (so long as the electric bill doesn't send my wife over the edge ).

Re: Folding again!

Thanks FV! I'm just shy of 9M ATM - I'll hit that within the next two days. So I've already set my sights for 10M; that should take about a month

Congrats XJ. What client are you using? I might start folding again with the cooler weather now.

Re: Folding again!

Congratulations XJ!! You've really hit your stride. Keep 'er going my friend!

That scary electric bill is why I'm throttled back. Hopefully finances will improve after the first of the year. If so I may be back folding full time.

Re: Folding again!

Thanks guys!

@Griff - I use the new Official FAHClient. I'm running it on 3 machines with 3 GPU instances and 2 SMP instances. It really easy to use and I like it allot. It's also still in beta, but it's pretty far along and hasn't given me any problems. So...Go For It!

I know a guy who lives a few towns away from me and pays _half_ what I do per kWH - if I had that rate, I wouldn't have to worry about my folding costs!

ATI GPU fails all the time as soon as it starts running. How do I add another SMP instance. I have a Quad CPU.

Re: Folding again!

I don't know anything about ATI, so you'd have to hit the FAH forums on that.

To add another folding instance you have to be in 'Expert' or 'Advanced' mode in the top right drop down. Then go to configure->slots and add a slot. Click the SMP radio button and you are on your way.

If you don't have one, go get a passkey from the main FAH site - then you'll get a nice bonus when you submit WU faster than required.

Re: Folding again!

Oh, it take a certain number of WU before you get the bonus points (maybe 10).
