Gameing rig that doesn't break the bank;

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboB...722562-_-Combo This build for a base is good start. One might swap for 2600K instead, or a little upgrade in the graphics card area. Maybe drop the case,PSU, and ram and use what you alreay have on hand will be an option. The build as it stands is nice too.

Great rig and it was less than I thought it would've been. In saying that my piggy isn't big enough.

If you price it out at Newegg it is really a good price and I really like that Corsair case, the red and black look good together!

I don't have quite that much in mine, but it's up there! That is a pretty rig and sweet video. It is a little less then I thought too for all the features and being a pre built. The OC isn't too phenomenal since I have a nice steady 5.0g

Mine's closest to what the chic has then?

Edit.. Ok well seeing that's a P67 practically any X58 is most likely to cost more

Sorry radeonized2 I think we all might have run away with this thread. It's all you fault fvbounty for posting that distracting eye candy! If I were to build a gaming rig on the cheap that I would still expect to slam all the newest games I might look into AMD. They have some pretty fast chips that don't make a whole lot of real time difference from Intel. With the rig you posted I didn't see any video card which is weird to me since they advertise it as a "gaming" computer. It may have a HDMI slot to use the i5's built in graphics, but I wouldn't consider that to be a gamng rig. Personally I think you could do better with the same money.

Re: Gameing rig that doesn't break the bank;

I second that.. a gaming rig tends to include a discrete VGA card

I couldn't agree with you more speed. As I stated originally it's a good build to start out with and of course change and swap parts.
